About ATHOH

At The Hands of Him exists to help women reclaim their identity in Christ through truth, prayer, and real-life faith. We believe healing begins when a woman understands who she is, whose she is, and how deeply she is loved by God.

Through Bible-centered teaching, identity resources, and faith-based community, At The Hands of Him creates space for women to grow spiritually, heal emotionally, and walk out their faith with confidence and clarity. Our heart is to meet women where they are and walk with them as they learn to live rooted, whole, and anchored in Christ.

Our Work | How We Live This Out

At The Hands of Him expresses its mission through both spiritual formation and tangible support. While our ministry resources nurture faith and identity, we also recognize that some seasons of healing require more than encouragement — they require structure, stability, and safe support.

That conviction gave rise to two distinct but deeply connected expressions of the same calling.

Friends in Faith Transitional Home

(FIFTH)

Where Faith Meets Function

Friends in Faith Transitional Home (FIFTH) is a Christ-centered transitional housing program created for women navigating major life transitions, including aging out of foster care or rebuilding after broken relationships.

FIFTH provides a safe, nurturing environment where women can stabilize, heal, and rebuild. Through housing, life-skills development, mentorship, and spiritual support, women are given the tools and time needed to move toward independence with dignity and hope. FIFTH exists to ensure that no woman walks her transition alone — and that faith is paired with practical support every step of the way.

THE HEART BEHIND ATHOH & FIFTH

Rhlonda Washington

Founder

Both At The Hands of Him and Friends in Faith Transitional Home were founded by Rhlonda Washington, whose own journey of healing, rebuilding, and faith shaped the vision behind this work. What began as a ministry focused on identity and spiritual growth naturally expanded into a tangible expression of restoration — meeting not only spiritual needs, but practical ones as well.

Together, ATHOH and FIFTH reflect one mission lived out in different ways: helping women heal, grow, and step confidently into the lives God has prepared for them.
